For Vitakraft, sustainability is and has been an integral part of our company for many years.  We believe that only by preserving the world’s natural resources we can ensure our pets receive a healthy, species-appropriate diet today and in the future.

By 2025, we want to work towards making 100% of our packaging recyclable and reduce the amount of plastic packaging by 10%.

Fish: since 2019 91.5% with MSC / ASC seal (100% by 2025)
Soy: 2020 90% from domestic/certified origin
Palm oil: The target is a complete renunciation of palm oil
Raw materials: Target 2021Expansion of the use of alternative raw materials (e.g. insects)

Good for the environment

Planting trees for a better world!
We support the children and youth initiative Plant-for-the-Planet in planting 1000 billion trees worldwide.
